Contestant Zion is Ready to Stay in BBNaija S9 Without Partner Chinwe

In the ongoing Big Brother Naija Season 9, Zion, a participant, expressed his stance that his infuriated girlfriend and partner, Chinwe, has the option to leave the show, but he has no intentions of accompanying her despite being paired.

Chinwe got upset and threatened to exit the show on Thursday night, claiming that Zion had undermined her to gain favor with other housemates.

The following morning, she confided in fellow housemate Michky that she had already informed the show’s management of her decision to depart.

In response to her ultimatum, Zion stated that he is unfazed by Chinwe’s potential departure but emphasized that he will contest any decision by the show’s management to evict both of them due to the paired nature of the competition.

During a conversation with Anita, Zion remarked, “It’s only the second week, and I shouldn’t be dealing with unnecessary drama because that shows losing focus. There’s no reason for you not to go home.

“If she decides to leave, that’s her choice. Just because we came here together doesn’t mean we have to leave together. If she tells Biggie she wants to leave, let her leave, I never said I want to go home.

“I can remove the ‘ZinWe’ label and continue in the house as Zion. It’s unreasonable for her actions to affect me. We entered as a pair, we should leave as a pair and support each other in the long run. This situation should be a learning curve for growth, not division.”
