Nelly Reflects on Post-Eviction Encounter with Shaun

Nelly, a finalist from Season 9 of Big Brother Naija, recently shared that she ignored her fellow contestant Shaun, who seemed eager to talk to her following her eviction on Sunday.

During their time in the house, the rapport between Nelly and Shaun deteriorated, especially since Shaun and his girlfriend suggested that Nelly’s physical appearance, particularly her buttocks, was ‘unnatural.’

Shaun alleged that it was actually Nelly’s boyfriend, Sooj, who initiated the discussion about his girlfriend’s figure.

Despite Shaun’s statements, Nelly maintained her distance when he tried to reconnect.

In a conversation with Naija FM, Nelly indicated that Shaun’s attempts to mend their relationship were uninvited and unwelcome on Sunday. She stated, “After I got evicted, Shaun kept following me around, wanting to talk. I told him there was no point; your thoughts about me are valid, and we don’t need to discuss it further.”

Shaun had previously mentioned on the show that he chose to pursue Wanni over Nelly because she didn’t take the initiative in their dynamic. Post-show, Wanni accused Nelly of flirting with Shaun while they were still together.
